Hatchie - ‘Sugar & Spice’

Australian dream-pop songstress 'Hatchie' is back with her band and a debut EP in tow; ‘Sugar & Spice’ (Out Via Heavenly Recordings) will be released Friday May 25 and coincides with a string of UK tour dates stretching from the south coast England to the west of Scotland.

 Lead single ‘Sugar & Spice’ is a bouncy pop number and comes accompanied with a pretty groovy video created by bandmember Joe Agius who used a theme inspired by school scrapbooks. The video sees monochrome cut outs of the band moving in a deliberately angular stop-motion style over a playful 'art-attack' looking back ground. It's quirky, it's a bit DIY, it's got moongel gaffa taped to a snare drum... it's totally our thing!
