Nausica - Black & White

Analytically introspective Art-popsters Nausica have just revealed their latest single 'Black & White'; Describing "two different mindsets in the form of an ongoing flashback", 'Black & White' plays on an interesting binary of retro feeling synth sounds and caterwauling guitar driven alt-pop reminiscent of the Yeah Yeah Yeah's making it an engaging listen.

As the sizzle of synths and the throaty splat of a gated snare-drum give way to echoing layers of guitar, one can't help but admire front-woman Edita Karkoschka’ deeply expressive performance on this track. Her voice reconciles this contrasting single of conflicting expressions, powerful and convincingly delivered.
