NADIA SHEIKH - 'Toxic'

Alt-Pop songstress Nadia Sheikh has been on our radar as one to watch for some time now. With a knack for turning out lean yet gritty guitar driven singles Sheikh has been causing a stir across the UK appearing on line-up's alongside long time EP favourites like Bugeye,  Nova Twins and LIINES to name a few.

Nadia Sheikh's latest release, is the sharp edged single 'Toxic', which premiered simultaneously in the UK and Spain on Radio X and Radio 3 respectively. 'Toxic' is a cutting track, which delivers it's hooks with a scalpel like precision, but this coldness never overpowers Nadia's distinctive warm (if fierce) vocals which are emotive and thoroughly engaging.

Melodic, lightly fuzzed and with a healthy wash of cymbals, this is some top notch Alt-Pop.
