Jetstream Pony - 'Self-Destruct Reality'

Sitting at the somewhat punkier more frenetic end of the indie-pop spectrum, 'Self-Destruct Reality' is the latest single from the rather excellently named indie-pop Supergroup Jetsream Pony (compromised of members of Trembling Blue Stars and the Wedding Present).

 From an unassuming intro of twinkling, seemingly idle guitar whittling, 'Self-Destruct Reality' suddenly bursts into life with the four piece indie pop stalwarts jumping all in at a runaway tempo. It's poppy and immediate, and while traces of punk influence are to be had, 'Self-Destruct Reality' never does away with that charming familiarity of the jangling indie pop sound.
