Cosmic Strip - Sugar Rush

I think we all need a little pick me up to shake those Monday blues, and 'Sugar Rush' the new single from dreamy EP favourites Cosmic Strip is an invigorating reverb soaked aural equivalent of a double espresso.

Picking right up where the band left us back in August (with their thundering shoegaze single 'Heavenly'), 'Sugar rush' gives more dense, richly textured guitars and hard hitting drums as a colossal soundtrack to the standout vocals of Camella Agabalyan. Dealing with a theme of addiction, the mood on 'Sugar Rush' is more fever dream than come down, overwhelming as it pulls at the senses.

Needless to say one hit of this sugary single has done enough to get this overly caffeinated blogger hooked.
