HEAVY HEART - 'Dowsabel'

Taking its title from an old English word for sweetheart 'Dowsabel' is latest dreamy alt-rock single by South London's simmering indie rockers HEAVY HEART.

A bittersweet single about a love affair with fawning instrumentation, that dotes upon the silky vocals of Anna Vincent, 'Dowsabel' is an exceptionally tender dream-pop track that makes it's passions felt in spurring bursts of jagged guitar and crashing cymbals, before fading away into a mysterious, emotionally impressionistic outro.

It's a flattering offer from the quartet whose admirers already include BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart and BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq, who were wooed by the irresistible charms of the groups January single 'Bed Bug'.
