Warrington based dream-pop group Danxia take their name from the unique landscapes of southern and western China and it's a good fit for a group whose contemplative psychedelic guitar pop undulates gently before revealing more jagged forms.
Taken from their second EP 'Learn to Swim' (31 March 2017) 'Bird in a cage' demonstrates the promising scope of Danxia's sound progressing from a trippy chilled opening to a very Warpaint like mix of shoegaze and art-rock.
